Bertazzoni

Bertazzoni: territory, pride and passion Bertazzoni is the world’s oldest family-run appliances company. It was born in 1882 in Guastalla, Emilia Romagna (Italy), from an idea of Francesco Bertazzoni and his son Antonio. They have been intrigued by a new type of stove they saw on the trains coming from Germany, which was used both to heat the carriages and cook the meals for the train crew. Inspired by this revolution, they started to produce stoves for the local market that were sold later also in other parts of Italy, thanks to the opening of the first factory in 1909. During the 1950s, Bertazzoni family started the production of gas stoves, and in the 1970s they began to sell also the electric ones. The company fabricates today also other appliances, such as induction hobs, cooker hoods and ovens and is present in more than 60 countries. The three pillars on which the company is based have always been family, food and engineering. Every aspect, from the development to the production, is studied in great detail to offer a range of innovative appliances with a unique design, which embrace every living space and meet the primary need of good cooking.
